REPORT ON \u201cREADING DAY\u201d CELEBRATED AT Y.C.E.M.S<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

We salute Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for his monumental achievements as<\/p>\n

a Scientist, Scholar and President of India. On the occasion of his<\/p>\n

birth anniversary, Yashwantrao Chavan English Medium School<\/p>\n

celebrated \u2018Vachan Prerna Divas\u2019 (Inspire to Read Day) or \u201cReading Day\u201d<\/p>\n

on October 15, 2018. The aim of the event was to develop and cultivate<\/p>\n

the habit of reading among youngsters. To promote this habit,<\/p>\n

the Principal, Mrs Angela Almeida and all the teachers of the school<\/p>\n

arranged elocution, reading and writing sessions for all students from<\/p>\n

classes I to IX. The students thoroughly enjoyed this stress free day as it<\/p>\n

ignited the minds of the young learners. Since, the students of today\u2019s age<\/p>\n

lack the passion for reading, this initiative taken by the school will<\/p>\n

be instrumental in bringing a positive change. It was indeed an enriching<\/p>\n

and fun-filled day for the students, which ended with great satisfaction<\/p>\n

and success.<\/p>\n
