January 23 is celebrated as Parakram Diwas in India to celebrate the birthday of one of the illustrious independence fighters, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. His steadfast spirit and unmatched devotion to the Indian independence movement made him a hugely popular leader, lovingly addressed as “Netaji.”
Today at Yashwantrao Chavan English Medium School we paid him tribute by offering flowers, garlands and lighting candle. Our respected chairperson Sharmishtha mam and our respected principal mam Mrs. Lakshmi Arun lit the candle and addressed the students regarding his life. All the teachers and the school staff also paid their tributes. To imbibe the true meaning of the day and follow glorious trails of the noble soul towards evolving a peaceful and prosperous world.
