Every year, January 26 is cherished as Republic Day, the day when our Constitution came into effect, marking the beginning of a new era for our sovereign, secular, and democratic republic. Like every year Yashwantrao Chavan, Koperkhairne, celebrated the Republic day with great pomp and splendour this year too. Since this was the 74th Republic Day, the Yashwantrao Chavan decided to celebrate the occasion more grandly.
The event started with Principal Mam Mrs Lakshmi Arun, the chairperson Sharmishtha mam, Mr. Sunil Jadhav and Ashwini mam unfurling the national flag and hoisting it. After the flag hoisting, the students and all the staff paid their respects to the national flag. After this the students of Pre Primary put together an act of various freedom fighters . The music teacher did a phenomenal job by singing the patriotic song. Students of secondary class performed a dance on patriotic songs. Students of Yashwantrao Chavan college gave a very mesmerizing dance performance. The anchor thanked everyone and ended the event.
