JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS – PRE PRIMARY and PRIMARY In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.
A celebration was organized in Pre primary and Primary section . All children came in traditional dresses. Boys came dressed as ‘Krishna’ and Girls came dressed as ‘Radha’.
The students were overjoyed when they broke the ‘Dahi Handi’ (pot of butter & curd) to grace this occasion.
